The Greenhouse - Glenorchy

  • The Headwaters Eco Lodge 42 Oban Street Glenorchy, Otago, 9372 New Zealand (map)

Event Details: An incredible film about a crazy house built in the centre of Melbourne. Follows visionary designer and zero-waste advocate Joost Bakker's journey to investigate what it would be like to grow all the food you ever needed, leaving no waste as you do so, right at your doorstep.

The Greenhouse is a display home for a possible future, a self-sufficient residence that provides shelter, food and energy while reusing any by-products - the realization of a complete waste-free, closed-loop system.

Cosy up in Glenorchy to get inspired by how to build differently.

Cost: $15

(Profits from tickets go towards supporting the incredible community groups in Glenorchy so bring a friend or two!)

What is a Film? Our films showcase some of the most inspiring, innovative and adventurous individuals taking action for climate. They have been hand picked by the team at Wao and are set to inspire action. When a pebble is dropped, a ripple is spread.
