Zoe Hawkins

Zoe Hawkins is a writer, host of Creative Juices (an open mic night for original spoken word and music) and founder of Brand+Butter (a creative agency for change).

An internationally awarded copywriter, Zoe traded her life in agency land for the Lakes District some six years ago. She now uses her powers for good, bolstering regenerative businesses models with mindful marketing and supporting owners to become agents of change.

Outside of her nine-to-five, poetry and short stories provide an unfiltered creative outlet, a platform for talking about the weird stuff and the perfect ice-breaker for Creative Juices - 7pm, second Wednesday of every month at Rhyme and Reason.

She is stoked to have two of her favourite pieces featured in mountain culture magazine, 1964 - ‘Wānaka Volunteer Firing Squad’ and ‘Living in a Cowboy’s Paradise’.

Zoe will be sharing a series of spoken word pieces as part of Nature’s Symphony during the Festival of Nature. They are inspired by and centred around our natural surrounds and wonderful community. Through her quirky style and unique perspective, she invites you to explore nature and the challenges at hand in a new way.
