Foraging Workshop with Peter Langlands (Festival of Colour Wānaka)

  • Meet at the Dinaosaur Park, Wānaka Lakefront Wānaka (map)

In this workshop, foraging expert Peter Langlands will introduce you to interesting wild plants growing around the Wānaka lakefront, helping you to see our environment through a new lens.

One of New Zealand’s few licensed professional foragers, Peter has spent years compiling Aotearoa’s largest database of wild plants into his book, Foraging New Zealand. He has worked with top chefs and led numerous workshops, making him the ideal guide to uncover nature’s culinary treasures.

Join Peter for a 60-minute walk beginning at the Dinosaur Park to discover edible plants and learn safe foraging tips.

A special foraged lunch will be hosted by Kika the next day as a separate event.
