What inspired you to start your sustainability journey?

Realising the potential for solar energy in the area, given the number of clear skies in Otago.

What does your company do that makes a difference?

We have a focus on Quality installations with great customer support.

It means the equipment we install will have longevity and not need to be replaced or upgraded for a very long time.

We help our customers on their sustainability journey, by helping them understand their solar system and energy use. In turn, helping them live more efficiently.

Where would you see change in the future?

In a solar sense, I would like to see some regulatory change in New Zealand. There are some rules regarding electricity that heavily benefit the large producers of electricity and networks. Instead of the end consumer.

I think these rules have slowed down the uptake of distributed renewables.

Change in this area will lead to innovative energy models, incorporating EV's Solar and Battery storage.
