Jodie Jarvis

Jodie Jarvis is a first year PhD student in Social Anthropology at Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka (University of Otago).

Their research explores the affectivity of climate change, an interest stemming from their own experiences of mental health crisis whilst studying climate change. Through their research they hope to help others navigate the emotional and existential difficulties of life in a time of planetary crisis.

Jodie is co-facilitating the Feeling our way through crisis: a workshop on navigating ecological distress and the Climate Solutions Cafe at the Wao Summit 2024.
