COVID-19

Wao will be following Government regulations and Ministry of Health guidelines to ensure all events that we are involved with follow health and safety best practice.

There are no longer any restrictions for the event sector under the new COVID-19 Strategy. This means there are no longer any requirements around gathering or event numbers, mask wearing and vaccination certificates.

However, in the interest and safety of others, if you feel unwell, we recommend you stay home and make use of our online pass and live streaming of our events.

If you test positive for COVID-19, you need to tell the people you have been in contact with while infectious that you have COVID-19. This can include others you live with, your colleagues or workplace, friends, or school. Please contact if you test positive for COVID-19 prior to attended any Wao Summit events.
